Video: The Expanse Stars Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper Throw Some Star Trek Shade

Steven Strait and Dominique Tipper, who star as ice haulers caught up in interplanetary intrigue in Syfy’s space opera The Expanse, talk about the series’ superb special effects — and take gentle aim at beloved sci-fi institution Star Trek. Plus, why the actors stopped reading the book series The Expanse is based on. Rotten Tomatoes caught up with Strait and Tipper at The Shop at NBC Studios in New York ahead of the series’ two-hour season 2 premiere.
