You’ll barely have time to toss your jack-o’-lantern before it’s all Christmas, all the time at Netflix. The streaming service is ushering in Yuletide throughout the month of November with the premiere of several Christmas-themed original movies and series. John Legend supplies songs for musical adventure Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, featuring Forest Whitaker, Keegan-Michael Key, and newcomer Madalen Mills. The sequel to “Kurt Russell plays sexy Santa” movie (The Christmas Chronicles is its official name) finally hits screens two years after the original, as does the sequel to Vanessa Hudgens’ doppelganger movie The Princess Switch — now with another princess! There are also holiday-themed series like Dash & Lily and Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas (yes, that’s real), and many more.

Netflix also offers a great selection of non-Christmas-themed programming in November, of course. The highly anticipated fourth season of The Crown, which introduces Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) and Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson), debuts on Nov. 15, animated WWII drama The Liberator for Veteran’s Day viewing, and the Amy Adams and Glenn Close Oscar contender Hillbilly Elegy bows Nov. 24. And the entire series of Dawson’s Creek begins streaming — sans its famous theme song, however — on Nov. 1.

Find out what else you’ll be able to binge this November on Netflix, starting with a preview of some of the month’s biggest releases.

HIGHLIGHTS

Description: The World War II drama series The Liberator tells the riveting true story of the bloodiest and most dramatic march to victory of the Second World War: the battlefield odyssey of maverick U.S. Army officer Felix Sparks and his infantry unit as they fought for over five hundred days to liberate Europe.

Premiere Date: November 11, 2020

Description: A musical adventure and a visual spectacle for the ages, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a wholly fresh and spirited family holiday event. Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (newcomer Madalen Mills) — and a long-forgotten invention — to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within. From the imagination of writer-director David E. Talbert and featuring original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, and Davy Nathan, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey reminds us of the strength of family and the power of possibility.

Premiere Date: November 13, 2020

Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son Jack (Jahzir Bruno). Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus (Kurt Russell). Written and directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter) and co-starring Goldie Hawn, The Christmas Chronicles 2 is an action-packed adventure for the whole family that’s full of heart, humor, and holiday spirit.
