The month of November brings exciting acquisitions and a few new original series to Amazon Prime Video.

On the film side, Oscar-winning writer-director Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave) presents film anthology series Small Axe, starring Letitia Wright, Shaun Parkes, Malachi Kirby, and  John Boyega, is joined by original film Uncle Frank, starring Paul Bettany and Sophia Lillis; three films from the The Expendables film franchise; recent releases including Bombshell and The Secret: Dare to Dream; and classics including Wall Street and As Good As It Gets.

TV offerings include IMDb TV’s first original series, the spy thriller Alex Rider (based on the book series by Anthony Horowitz); the acquisition Wayne (Amazon now owns this YouTube Original, which moves to Prime following Cobra Kai’s move to Netflix); the adventure reality series The Pack, hosted by Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, and more.

Keep reading to find out what else is new on Amazon Prime Video in November, with some highlights noted at the top.

Wayne: Season 1 (2019)

Description: Wayne can’t help himself from righting the world’s wrongs. Now, against all odds, the 16-year-old and his one-of-a-kind girlfriend Del are on a road trip from Brockton, Massachusetts to Ocala, Florida to reclaim what’s rightfully his: a wicked-hot ’79 Trans-Am that was stolen from his dying father. With trouble behind them and danger ahead, Wayne and Del are bound to find themselves with their backs against the wall. But that’s OK. They’ve been there before.

Critics Consensus: The most thoughtfully violent series you’ll see all year, Wayne is a home run.

Premiere Date: November 6

Description: Alex Rider is a coming of age spy-thriller series based on the best-selling, global phenomenon book franchise written by Anthony Horowitz, which has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. The series follows Alex Rider, a London-based teenager who has unknowingly been trained since childhood for the dangerous world of espionage. Pressured to help investigate his uncle’s death, and how it connects to the assassination of two high-profile billionaires, Alex reluctantly assumes a new identity and goes undercover in a remote boarding school called Point Blanc.

Premiere Date: November 13

Small Axe

Description: Small Axe is an anthology comprised of five original films set from the late 1960s to the mid 1980s that tell personal stories from London’s West Indian community, whose lives have been shaped by their own force of will despite rampant racism and discrimination. This title is derived from the African proverb, “If you are the big tree, we are the small axe.” Streaming November 20, with new films premiering each Friday through December 18

Premiere Date: November 20

Uncle Frank (2020)

Description: Set in 1973, Uncle Frank follows Frank Bledsoe (Paul Bettany) and his 18-year-old niece Beth (Sophia Lillis) on a road trip from Manhattan to Creekville, South Carolina, for the family patriarch’s funeral. They are then unexpectedly joined by Frank’s lover Walid (Peter Macdissi).

Premiere Date: November 25
