As we gear up for the epic conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, Rotten Tomatoes correspondent Mark Ellis sat down with The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams and the cast of the new film to talk legacies, Carrie Fisher, trilogy highlights, and – of course – Baby Yoda. It was the day after the stars had seen the film for the very first time, and their enthusiasm for what they’d witnessed was palpable. Here, Abrams discusses what he hopes his trilogy has given fans; Keri Russell salutes Abrams and dishes on what it’s like to act behind an iconic Star Wars helmet; and Daisy Ridley pays tribute to Carrie Fisher, a pop culture pioneer. Plus, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran, Naomi Ackie, Joonas Suotamo, and Anthony Daniels reflect on their favorite moments from their time in the Star Wars universe.
