Breakdown of 2020 Movie Delays, and When They Will Hit Theaters

Edgar Wright's Last Night in Soho moves to 2021, Tom Hanks' Greyhound jumps to Apple TV+, and more are stuck in limbo.

So far, 2020 has been unpredictable, as movie studios and the film industry at large scramble to respond to an ever-changing global crisis. In early March, it was announced that the release date of the latest James Bond film (and Daniel Craig’s final outing in the role), No Time to Die, was being postponed from April to November, and it was only a matter of time before others followed suit. Sure enough, a whole slew of films have now announced release date changes, and not all of them have pinned down exactly when they plan to open.
