Though their arrival in the Star Wars galaxy is a number of years away, Game of Thrones executive producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff will write and produce a “series” of Star Wars films after the conclusion of their HBO television program, Lucasfilm and Disney announced on Tuesday.

But that is all fans of the producers and Star Wars really know at the moment. Which means it is time to speculate wildly about where they could go with Star Wars. They could go to the past, create something new, fill in gaps or dramatize some well-loved Expanded Universe material. So, let’s take a look at five places David Benioff and D.B.
